THE DBA MISSION STATEMENT

The Danville Business Alliance will forge cooperative ties with government, industry and the community to make Danville the best small town in Pennsylvania.

The DBA will develop and implement guidelines and implement projects for making the Downtown area attractive and pleasant. These guidelines and projects will be sensitive to Danville’s unique cultural and architectural heritage yet will be forward-looking to meet future needs.

The DBA will develop and implement a proactive plan to recruit businesses to Downtown that are consistent with the DBA’s vision and Danville’s position in the marketplace. At the same time, the DBA will support existing businesses by becoming a clearinghouse for information and services useful to them.

The DBA will conduct well-established promotional events that make Downtown lively and entertaining for the community and its visitors. It will conduct an active and aggressive marketing campaign to encourage both the community and visitors to take advantage of Downtown’s unique range of services, shops, activities and natural resources.
