Membership in the DBA provides a number of benefits not available to non-members. Depending on the number of your employees, your annual membership dues will be $50 or $100, which will entitle you to:
- participation through the DBA in the Commonwealth’s Main Street Program for revitalization and reinvestment in our downtown communities
- potential eligibility through the Main Street Program for downtown reinvestment funding, such as façade, anchor building and reinvestment grants
- opportunities to participate in downtown planning and enhancement projects whose costs are underwritten by the DBA and its partners, such as the Downtown Danville Master Plan and the Mural Program
- help us develop private and public partnerships to use the façade grant program, the Downtown Danville Master Plan, the Mural Program, and other projects to initiate greater downtown enhancement
- eligibility to serve on the Board of Directors and various committees of the DBA, which develop and implement policies directed at downtown architectural preservation, capitalizing on our unique assets and distinguishing them from other communities through marketing and promotion, and enhancement of our assets through business retention and recruitment
- directly benefit from the DBA branding campaign to redefine Danville’s unique assets into a positive, readily identifiable image which is marketed through a variety of print and electronic media
- free façade grant applications
- free vendor spaces at Spring Fling and the Fall Arts and Crafts Fair
- free advertising on the DBA website
- subsidized promotion and advertising during the Holidays
- benefits of increased tourism and visitors as a result of our partnership with the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau in its advertising campaign throughout 2010, focused on multimedia outlets in northeastern and southeastern Pennsylvania
- discounted tuition to attend Bucknell Small Business Development Center seminars on various topics of interest to new and existing businesses
