Since its founding in 2004, the Danville Business Alliance has partnered with local businesses, government, community leaders and residents to promote economic revitalization and reinvestment in Downtown Danville, historic and architectural preservation, and the growth of the arts in our community. Because of our accomplishments and vision the DBA has earned broad community support. This has been the key to our current and future financial sustainability, which will help the DBA carry out our 5-year vision for Danville:
- Continue to be a nationally recognized center for healthcare, scientific research and technology
- Create a healthy and diverse downtown that complements a creative economy
- Develop central business district upper floors for commercial and residential use
- Integrate the Danville riverfront, historic walking trail and downtown business district to fulfill our potential to be a historic river town with a 21st century economy
- Become a model of rural renaissance, tied to our heritage while also moving confidently into the future
As part of our responsibility to periodically inform our stakeholders and the general community about our accomplishments in fulfilling our vision, the DBA has provided the following reports:
